About Rampello Music Boosters

Our Story

  

Rampello Music Boosters Inc. is a nonprofit 501C3 organization which supports the Rampello K-8 School music program including classroom music, orchestra, band, ensembles and choirs. 


Hillsborough County Public Schools provides limited funding for music education. RMB raises funds to cover costs for the purchase of new instruments, repair of existing equipment, music supplies, and sheet music. RMB also provides financial assistance and scholarships to student-members who qualify for band camps, music performance assessments, solo ensemble,  field trips, and other music events.

Officer Duties

President

  

The President’s responsibilities include:

  • Being a voting member of the Music  Booster Board and leader of the team actively planning music activities,  planning, scheduling and running monthly Music Booster meetings
  • Conducting additional Music Booster board meetings as needed
  • Conducting regular planning   meetings with the directors to coordinate Booster support of music  activities as needed. Weekly communications to discuss ongoing activities      and music booster support as needed is recommended.
  • Overseeing the development and  execution of the budget (working with directors and coordinators) and ensuring that Boosters operate enough fundraisers to cover expenses
  • Following the Booster  guidelines and general music calendar to plan for anticipated events and      activities, delegating as necessary
  • Communicating with music parents,  emails as needed, and speaking at events
  • Ensuring that all Booster Board actions are in accordance with Music Booster Bylaws 

Vice President- Membership

  The Vice President’s duties include:

  • Being a voting member of the Music Booster Board and part of the team actively planning music booster activities and fundraisers
  • Lead membership recruitment
  • Attending monthly Music Booster meetings and any additional board meetings as needed
  • Soliciting additional volunteers to fill positions as needed, making those volunteers aware of their responsibilities and providing assistance as needed.
  • Assisting the President as needed

Secretary

 The Secretary’s responsibilities include:

  • Being a voting member of the Music Booster Board and part of the team actively planning music booster activities and fundraisers
  • Taking attendance and minutes at all Booster meetings and board meetings
  • Communication-creating and maintaining email distribution lists for each Music group and sending out emails for directors, officers, and coordinators as needed.
  • Sending out Music Booster correspondence as needed
  • Maintaining and publicizing the  general Music calendar

Treasurer

The duties of the Treasurer include:

  • Serving as a voting member of the Music Booster Board
  • Handling all Music Booster funds, including deposits and outgoing checks
  • Maintaining the accounting for each music group, according to the budget
  • Attending monthly Music Booster   meetings and any Music Booster Board meetings to present the financial      report
  • Provide a monthly statement to  the directors
  • Order materials as needed

Thank you for supporting our students! 


All students should be picked up in the their homeroom after the concert is over.  Second and Fourth grade To reduce crowds, please have just one adult go to the class.

Middle School students all have jobs before leaving, if everyone helps this will take under five minutes. They will be released from the cafe after this takes place.

Thank you and enjoy the show!
