Recorder Lab
Students in fourth and fifth grades learn recorder! Students may bring home their recorders to practice. Below are the belt tests they will be working on. White, Yellow, Orange, and Green belts must be taken with Mrs. W in person. After that, students may record their playing and send it in via Canvas.

White Belt Song
Learn the steps we use to learn a song! Remember, if your instrument squeaks or notes don't change CHECK YOUR FINGERS!
Yellow Belt Song
This song is not a race! Watch your tempo.
Orange Belt Song
Yes, you know this song! Make sure you use the rhythms written, not what you think it sounds like.
Green Belt
You get a new note- E! Use your right hand to play those bottom two holes.
Purple Belt
Another new note: D Played like E but add a finger. Again- watch your rhythms on this!
